Smaller Balls Help with Fundamentals
Are you coaching a younger group of players? The Jugs Small Ball Polyurethane-Foam Ball is an outstanding choice. Made for the Jugs Small Ball machine, the ball is designed to develop hand-eye coordination and a quick bat. The softness of the ball helps remove the fear factor present in younger players.

Young softball players also can benefit from a softer ball. Molded with the highest quality materials, they're the most durable of any on the market. They are manufactured to be used indoors or outdoors and will last for years.

ATEC produces the SFT ball that is built with polypropylene to reduce injuries. When used with the ATEC Hitting Streak Pitching Machine and Feeder, the ball's breaking pitches are amazing. Perfect for any machine, it has the feel off the bat and carry equal to a regulation ball.

Dimpled balls are most common
Dimpled pitching machine balls are quite popular. They are designed with an 85-degree hardness that stands up to the test of the metal bat. Because they are made with durability in mind, dimpled balls last longer than regular leather balls.

If you prefer a leather pitching machine baseball, there are several types on the market. Most are made with a cork and rubber pill with an A-Grade wool blend winding and leather cover. Many have colorful stitching for easy identification.

There are also synthetic balls available. Designed to work in most pitching machines, the synthetic leather cover design of the balls helps make for realistic game conditions. The balls are manufactured for years of use.

Dimpled pitching machine softballs come in 11- and 12-inch sizes. They are designed to fly straighter and last longer than regular softballs, and they're easier on bats and hands.
