    I also purchased a Heater Pro Pitching Machine. The lighter balls come faster and do not carry as far after hit. Great for hand eye coordination.

    I'm impressed with the realistic feel of these leather slider lite baseballs.

    Prior to shipment I was concerned about the 2/3 official weight, but am pleased considering their purpose in the Power Alley cage.

    The seams make for realistic BP in the cage. I've heard from dads with sons in older leagues how "pitching machine" league lulls 'em into repetitive perfect pitches. However, with the seams of the slider lite leather balls, my son still gets to see variation in the pitch. He still has to hit with his brain and his brawn...aw who'm I kiddin'--he's only 8; it's just fun for him!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
